¡´Spa
Jinlun Hot Spring is a typical river valley hot spring with water from the riverbed. The steam of the spring and murmuring water are the famous wonders in the area. It is a weak alkaline sodium bicarbonate spring whose pH value is between 7 and 8. The water is clear and suitable for drinking with a slight sulfur smell. The temperature is about 70-90„aC. Dufeilu Hot Spring is located in the deep mountain forest. Therefore, it takes about 2-3 hours walking up the stream to reach it. Though it takes a longer time to get there, you will never regret as you see the wonder of geothermal energy in nature from the hot spring water flowing from the cliff into dozens of natural springs of different sizes.
Biru Hot Spring is located in the river valley east of Mt. Dawu in Jinfeng Township. It is called Bilu because it is close to the Biru Village of Paiwan Tribe. Biru Hot Spring has a large open-air hot spring, spring fall, milk fall, and carbonate crystals looking like stalactites. All these are the works of nature. There are rich fish sources there, making it an ideal place for river tracing and nature observation. However, as Biru Hot Spring is located inside the nature reserve, fishing or plant collection there is prohibited.


¡´Aboriginal Community
Hualien and Taitung are places where aboriginals settle. The Harvest Festival celebrated by aboriginal tribes in July and August is the best occasion to experience the aboriginal culture. Most aboriginals in Jinlun are from the Paiwan Tribe. The site is adjacent to aboriginal communities, making it an ideal spot for developing a spring resort with aboriginal culture.
¡´Hometown of Day Lily
Taimali, where the site is located, is the hometown of day lilies. Daylily Mountain gets its name because it is abound with day lilies. When the day lilies blossom in August and September, the mountain is covered with swinging golden day lilies, bringing perfect views. This is why the mountain is called Daylily Mountain. As white wild Formosan lilies are also grown on the mountain, when they blossom in spring, it brings another ecological wonder. The Taifeng Tea grown there has started a second boom for the agriculture on Daylily Mountain. In addition to day lilies and tea farms, the view from the peak is splendid. The ridge is the perfect spot for watching Taimali Delta, the Pacific, Green Island, and Lanyu; sunrise; and moonrise. Besides watching the changing clouds in the daytime, it is also an ideal place for enjoying stars at night.

1.Sanhe Seaside Park
Sanhe Seaside Park is located in Sanhe Village by Provincial Highway No. 9. It is a typical fishing village with a humble fishing harbor, fish marketplace, fishing gear showroom, sightseeing platform, children¡¦s playground, waterfront pond, wind power facility, stage, bikeway, and entrance with installation art. The katsuo processing factory adjacent to the harbor is the unloading harbor of the township¡¦s set net fishing industry. At 8:30 am or 4:30 pm everyday, fish products are unloaded and auctioned there, making it an ideal place for watching how fishing boats rush ashore, experiencing the life of fishermen, and enjoying leisure.

2.Origins of Aboriginals
There is a stone tablet that reads ¡§Origin of Taiwanese Aboriginals¡¨ standing on the slope near Sanhe Village by South Link Highway. It is said that it was where the ancestors of Taiwanese aboriginals landed. According to Puyuma legends, their ancestors crossed the Pacific to Sanhe Village in Taimali Township and began to multiply there. The Jhiben Community today is the earliest settlement of the Puyumans.

3.Daylily MountainLeisure Farm
Daylily Mountain is located at about 13.5km, west of the Taimali area. As one of the earliest planned leisure farming parks in Taiwan, the "Daylily Mountain Leisure Farming Park" located at 1450m elevation occupying an area of 462 ha was planned in 2001. In the park there are sightseeing platforms, alcoves, trails, and parking sites. There are about 30 hostels in the park. In addition to day lilies, sakuras, apricots and wild lilies are grown on the mountain.
Together with the clouds and mountain mists, the park is a wonder in itself. Blossoming seasons of flowers on Mr. Jinjen are as follows: the sakura and apricot season is from January to March; the big-leaf hydrangea and wild lily season is from April to June; and the day lily season is from July to October.

4.Millenary Sunrise Memorial Park
The park is located in front of Taimali Railway Station by the seashore running across Sunrise Avenue and Provincial Highway No. 9. It is a gravel beach in front of the green sea and blue sky, with gorgeous coastal view. Taimali is called jabauli in Paiwan dialect, meaning the place where the sun rises. Therefore, Taimali is also called the ¡§hometown of the sunrise¡¨. Since 2000, Taimali Township Office organizes the New Year¡¦s Eve party and sunrise watching activity at the beach. Public facilities there include parking, ocean watching alcoves, a stage, trails, and bikeways.

5.Mt. Dawu Nature Education Center
The Mt. Dawu Nature Education Center under Taitung Forest District Office, Forestry Bureau, located in Jinfeng Township, Taitung County, is a multifunctional facility combining ecology and humanities exhibitions, education and training. The facility is established to let citizens understand the goals of setting up reserves and to display the beauty of Dawu Nature Reserve. The center also provides nature- and conservation-related education and training for agencies.
