Throughout years of practice, THI has built her reputation as the best consulting firm in Transportation Planning in Taiwan. Being confident that the planning expertise would also help operator clients in efficient and effective operations, THI therefore expanded her areas of practice to operations planning and management of transportation services. Smart Bus Operations Management System
1. Objective: To develop information platform to assist bus operators to provide safe, efficient and quality transportation services by using the cloud technology. The system has already been acquired by a number of bus operators in Taiwan for improving their fleet management. The system may also be used to improve bus services in cities with dynamic bus information system and on-board units.

Major Functions:

1. Integrate operations systems on bus driving, ticketing, on-board unit, safety records, customer complaints, government evaluation system.

2. Analyze bus driving records by driver, vehicle and route by applying big data technology.

3. Use visualization techniques to display operations characteristics on interactive dashboards to facilitate inquiry and management measures.

4. Management measures may be taken to improve drivers’ safety and eco-driving training, drivers’ bonus incentives, vehicular maintenance and customer service programs.

5. The system may be used to improve bus services in cities with dynamic bus information system and on-board units.
